You get to visit several regions in Stellar Blade. One of them is a city that's in ruins, nearly abandoned save for Naytiba monsters roaming around. There's also a large area submerged in contaminated water, though you learn that there might be secrets that await. Here's our guide on how to lower the flood waters of Eidos 7 in Stellar Blade.
How to lower Eidos 7 flood waters in Stellar Blade
Upon disembarking from the Eidos 7 tram, you come across the aptly named Flooded Commercial Sector. It has entire city blocks submerged underwater, which is so toxic that Eve could die within seconds.
However, if you use the drone's scan action, you'll see that there are fully explorable streets and shops down below. However, it'll take a while until you can actually reach those places.
The Oblivion side quest
To lower the Eidos 7 flood waters in Stellar Blade, you must first start a side quest called Oblivion. This should become available after you've completed the main objectives in Wasteland--Altess Levoire. Then, return to Xion and chat with Orcal. Then, head back to Xion's entrance.
Below the entrance archway, there's a ledge and a makeshift shelter. Talk to the kid, who'll then give you a Request Letter. It has a recovery program that can drain the water from the plaza.
Where to find the flood control terminal
Make sure you're tracking the Oblivion quest so markers appear on your map. You can then return to Eidos 7 by asking Adam to pilot the Tetrapod ship. Upon arriving at the Silent Street, interact with the nearby payphone and select the Plaza Entryway waypoint. Turn around and open the gate and you'll find yourself back at the Flooded Commercial Center.
Go to the opposite end of the bridge and follow the path until you see yellow indentations on the wall below. Hold onto these, going sideways, until you reach the adjacent street. The building here has the flood control terminal.
Collectibles: Can - Elixir Carrot
Upon interacting with the terminal, you can make the Eidos 7 flood waters recede in Stellar Blade. This lets you access new areas down below.
Still, if you look around, you can find some collectibles. Firstly, if you continue heading to the lower street, you'll see a robot. Destroy it and use the code to open a chest inside a liquor store on a higher floor. This nets you the Elixir Carrot can.
Collectibles: Can - Cryo Original
Continue along the street until you see a vending machine next to a patrolling Naytiba and another liquor store. Interact with the vending machine to receive the Cryo Original can.
Outfit: Wasteland Adventurer
Finally, there's a ledge at the higher level of the plaza (opposite the shops). The red crate here has the Wasteland Adventurer outfit for Eve.
Oblivion side quest rewards
The main objective of the Stellar Blade Oblivion side quest is to enter a hideout called Warehouse 77, which should be marked on your map. Inside, you'll find numerous dead bodies--everyone in the group has been slain. Inspect all of them to complete the objective, which also causes a prompt to appear so you can return to Xion.
Finishing the Oblivion side quest nets you the following rewards: 2x Pulse Grenade, 2x Shock Grenade, and 2x Smart Mine. Further onward, you should receive side quests/bulletin board bounties that lead you back to the No-Longer-Flooded Commercial Sector.
That's everything you need to know about how to make the flood waters recede in Stellar Blade's Eidos 7 zone. If you plan on discovering new areas, you might want to check out how to unlock the Forbidden Area in the Wasteland.
