Street Fighter 6 is now mere months away, and if you're looking to get serious with the highly anticipated fighting game, then it's time to grab a fight stick. While you'll want to avoid using a leverless controller in Street Fighter 6 competitions, a more traditional arcade-inspired controller is now available for preorder, and it even sports a slick contemporary finish.

Compatible with PC, PS5, and PS4, the $230 Street Fighter 6 edition of the Hori Fighting Stick Alpha. Hori's Alpha fight sticks are highly ratef, and like the original model, this one features quality Hayabusa buttons and joystick, a fully functional touchpad, on-board audio, and mic controls.

It also has great customization features, as you can use an app to set up to four custom profiles that you can switch between on the fly using a dedicated function button. For physical customization, you can replace the Street Fighter 6 artwork with one of 18 additional top panel artwork sheets. You'll need to download and print them out yourself, but it's a nice option to have when you want to add your stamp of customization to your fight stick.

If you'd prefer a traditional controller for the upcoming fighting game, it's worth noting that Sony and Microsoft have two excellent premium controllers available that also feature varying degrees of customization. The DualSense Edge is pricy, but it builds on a solid foundation and has modular parts that you can easily swap in or out. Microsoft has its Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, which has a great build quality and ergonomic design, and preorders for the red and blue editions of the Core model are now live.
