Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition Available At Amazon
The elusive Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition is back in stock at Amazon, though we're not sure how long it'll stick around.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition sold out moments after going live earlier this year, and subsequent restocks after launch have sold out very quickly. But, after a long wait, Amazon officially has the collector’s edition back in stock--though we don’t know how long it’ll stick around.
You have to take an extra step to get the Collector's Edition for its $130 MSRP. For some bizarre reason, a third-party seller's listing for $143 is the default. Click the "other sellers" below the price or click the first "Add to Cart" button in the box on the right side of the page (next to the "Frequently bought together" section). The Tears of the Kingdom Collector's Edition will be added to your cart with free Prime shipping arriving later this month.
The Collector's Edition includes a physical copy of the game, a 204-page hardcover art book, a steelbook case, a steel poster, and a set of four pin badges. That’s a lot of exclusive content--and it’s a perfect bundle for fans that have yet to play Link’s latest adventure.
Even if you already own the standard edition, there might be enough collectibles here to warrant a purchase. The art book is the biggest selling point, as it includes tons of unique content and behind-the-scenes images that you won’t find anywhere else.
The included steelbook is also a nice bonus, giving you a premium (and protective) way to store one of the best Switch games ever made.
We’ve watched The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition go out of stock many times--and it tends to happen incredibly fast. If you’re interested in buying one, you should probably head over to Amazon as soon as you can, as there’s no indication as to how many units are still available.
