Control is one of the most intriguing worlds in video games in recent memory. The Oldest House and the Hiss are fascinating ideas that are executed perfectly. The gameplay is surprisingly various for only using one gun. You also have the “launch” ability which allows you to throw objects using telekinesis. There are other abilities that you get later on that I won’t spoil. Mixed with a gripping story, engaging gameplay, and a mysterious world, Control is one of the most unique games I’ve played.
