Great prequel to its main-game.

Great story and prequel to Homeworld 1 and 2.

Utilizing the units on the ground have the exact same feel as in the other Homeworld games. It can be fast paced at time, especially, if you want to achieve the secondary objectives as well. You have augmented amazing battle chatter in the background as you fight through the campaign. Graphics are really sweet, the vehicles are very nicely detailed and your carrier keeps having additional features on it each time you upgrade it.

The only cons are that as with all modern day RTS games that have good graphics, the campaigns is not as long. On medium difficulty settings you are looking at about 10-12 hours. There is an issue when commanding some units (especially air units), when you are in the map mode. Also difficult to choose where exactly you want to look at when coming out of map mode, could have been done better.

I would have rated it an 8.5 but since I am unable to rate that score, I just round it up.
