Originally launched in 2016 for PC and console, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was a substantial upgrade to the first game. Unlike many Dragon Ball games, this sequel features an original story and allows you to create a custom warrior to help protect time against nefarious forces. You can choose from several races, including Saiyan, Majin, Namekian, and Frieza's alien species, each one having distinct pros, cons, and powerful transformations.

The game has also been extensively supported with DLC over the years, incorporating new content from across the Dragon Ball franchise, like Goku's Ultra Instinct transformation.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is among the best games to emerge from this beloved franchise. It looks stunning, has a solid gameplay base, and gives people who love the series a way to feel like they’re a part of this big, beautiful universe," Heidi Kemps wrote in GameSpot's Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 review in 2016.
