No Caption Provided Sony launched the digital comic reader for the PSP last year, partnering with comic book publishers Marvel, Disney, and others to bring hundreds of characters and digital comic books to users. Today, the PSP maker announced that DC Comics titles are now available in the PlayStation Store.

Available today are more than 80 DC Comics that can be downloaded through the PlayStation Store or Media Go and viewed on the PSP or PC. Launch titles include Batman: Hush, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Fables: Legends in Exile, and Planetary: All Over the World and Other Stories. Additionally, users can snag PSN exclusives Superman/Batman, Resistance, Free Realms, and God of War and can download a free 10-page sampling of Superman 700, Bayou, Fringe, Mirror’s Edge, and Resistance.

There are more than 1,600 comics available in the PlayStation Store today, with more promised for the future. A full list of available comic titles can be found at the PlayStation Digital Comics storefront. PlayStation comics are available on all PSP models, though those interested will need the latest firmware (6.20) to access the content.
