Infinity Ward opens feedback line

With a pending lawsuit pinned against Activision over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, two maps packs released for the title, and no word from the publisher or the studio on what the developer behind the billion-dollar franchise is doing next, Activision has a lot on its figurative plate.

In an interview with GameSpot at E3 2010 last week, Activision chief operating officer Thomas Tippl said his company will be reaching out to the community and explaining its decision process. That realization seems to have come to a head today, as Activision's once-premier studio Infinity Ward--whose ranks have been drastically thinned of late--opened a line of communication with followers.

Infinity Ward "creative strategist" Robert Bowling recently tweeted a phone number for inspired individuals to "give feedback, ask questions, or just leave a rant." GameSpot dialed the number, (402)-500-0119, and was greeted by a brief voicemail address by Bowling followed by a prompt to leave a message.
