Remedy's follow-up to their Max Payne games is a cleverly written yarn that takes the form of an episodic television show. Its most obvious influence is Twin Peaks, but I was also reminded of The Twilight Zone. The supernatural story is filled with mystery, while the gameplay combines exploration with shooting. Fans of the horror genre should find this to be intriguing despite the repetition. I would rate it with an 8.3 out of 10.
