I like RTS games i like Aliens and i like Predator's but will this game drive me to the edge of Extinction?

Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction The name alone makes it sound like it will be a fun game....Now its not a FPS like the past Aliens Versus Predator games this time we are steping into the world of the RTS. Games in the past have tried to do crossover games where we had the power house of RTS in C&C we had the major fail into FPS.

It seems that Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction is doing the same but the other way around where the games in the FPS side where very very good the RTS is not so much.....Plus the fact its an RTS on a console which does not realy help it at all. I mean even in this day and age RTS games still work and play best on a PC. where as back in 2003 when this game came out this is even more true.

All in all its not what i would call a bad game but rarther a poor game trying to be better....If it had more work on it maybe it could have broken through and started a new trend but it seems that day has gone and it is stuck.

There is one fun part to this game that i must point out....Playing as the aliens you get to face huge people and drag them back to your nest...I feel its the only side they got right...you turn your section of the map into a nest and build from there....

All in all i would say rent it first. Its not a bad game it is just not the game it could have been.
