Americas Army, THE Best Free FPS Around
The whole point of the game is to give players a feeling of what real combat situation would be like for soldiers, if you get hit you bleed and so on. At first the reality of it all can get a little bit annoying as at first you can die very easily, but after you get the hang of not charging straight down the middle and getting shot in half it becomes really fun.
Unlike other FPS's there is a lot of tactics involved and you actually have to work with your other teammates to complete the missions. Also there is no respawn during a game so if you die you're our for the rest of it which can get annoying if you die early but as you get better that will happen less and less.
At the start of the game you get taught the basics, how to shoot properly, how to run etc. As you complete basic training more advanced options become open to you such as airborne school and advanced marksmanship. As you complete these secondary training missions more and more maps will become open to you to play against others. The more you unlock the more fun the game gets which increases its playability over long periods of time.
For a free game its great as there is no server traffic and you will always be able to find a good server to play on, or if you want you can fork out some cash to hire a server to be admin on and so that you and your friends can always play on there.
Overall its a great game and well worth playing, and although the no respawn can get annoying eventually you will get around it by not dying as much :D.
