Needs some work... But overall a good "I'm bored" game

Game Play

Well if you have any of the others, and you did good with the controls (like myself) then you'll be just fine, If you had a hard time... welcome back to the nightmare. As the controls are just the same.
looking up and down is always confusing (even now). But really we can't blame the game, Its just the fact that the psp really needs two analog sticks. (no not the knock off ones you see modders with)
Oh and L2 and R2...
Something good is that, you can convert data from AC3 and ACSL into this one. So that was a plus for me. but as much as its a blessing its also a curse. (more on that in final note)
Theres more parts now ( I think) so thats another plus.
Another Negative thing about it, is that its even shorter than the other two I had (AC3 and ACSL). Some of the boss fights are slightly difficult but thats all you should get stuck on if your an Armored Core Veteran. A plus on that though is that, like before, you can take sides in the war. so it DOES give it a slight replay value. (not to mention its a robot game, I mean CMON)

Multiplayer

I know it should probably be in "Game Play" but I have a few comments about Multiplayer. so here it goes. Multiplayer in one word: Disappointing ... Because, I'm not sure about you guys (girls), I was hoping for some Online Action... But no dice. The reason I like that option on PSP games is because, well its a "Single Player" console (as in most games only allow one person at a time). and since PSP are more rare then say iPhones or Droids. Its harder to find other players, that have the game and want to play. However I'm one of the lucky few who know several people with PSPs. (I.e 2 of my siblings, 3 of my friends and 4 of my sibling's friends (really) ) So I've experienced Multiplayer at full potential. And I have to say Its pretty fun with several game types and usability of Single player ACs (plus the ability to add bots) So if you are a lucky person and have that ability, you will find it fun.

Overall, Its a good game. Best one on the PSP in my opinion. but If you have the other ones, (or can play a PS3 version) don't waste your time or money. Cause its basically the same as 3 and SL but with some new parts and UI....and missions... But you won't miss anything If you have the others. But if you don't have the others, or don't have a PS3... Then definitely get it.
