The next Star Wars movie, the spinoff Rogue One, comes out in less than six months. We're finally starting to learn more about the story and characters, and now, more images from the sci-fi film have been released.

Entertainment Weekly has posted 16 new images from the movie. The pictures show off things like a "deadlier" breed of stormtroopers, a menacing-looking Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, Donnie Yen's blind warrior monk character Chirrut Imwe, and a new security robot droid known as K-2SO who is voiced and performed by Alan Tudyk.

There is also an image of director Gareth Edwards doing his job, as well as a series of headshots for the main characters. Go to EW to see all of the images.

In other news about Rogue One, it was confirmed this week that Darth Vader will show up, voiced by James Earl Jones. However, don't expect to see much of the iconic bad guy, as he'll be used "sparingly," Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said.

"But at a key, strategic moment, he's going to loom large," she explained.

In addition to EW's new images, you can check out a series of shots from the movie's first trailer in the gallery below.
