ACT Prepares NitroVibe

Rumble Pak with a memory cart built in? ACT Labs brings it home.

Comments

Thought that the only way you could play Rumble Pak-compatible games and use the memory cart was to swap them at a special screen? Well, third party peripheral manufacturer ACT Labs has taken a Rumble Pak and an N64 memory cartridge and combined them into one package - the NitroVibe Plus.

The accessory allows people to save their games during Rumble Pak games without having to use the "hot swap" technique. The NitroVibe Plus will retail for US$14.99, and has a 256k memory pak on board. A standard Rumble Pak accessory, called just the NitroVibe, will also be available, for $9.99.
