Aliens Go Online

Fox Interactive and Kesmai have teamed up to develop Aliens Online, a multiplayer title based on the feature film, Aliens. This will be the first in a series of games from the two companies, who are sisters underneath the umbrella of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.

Aliens Online is expected on America Online and other gaming services later this summer, complete with a first-person perspective and persistent characters. Players will either join the Aliens or the Colonial Marines, using different tactics and weapons for each species. The game will feature 100-person arenas.

Kesmai and Fox say the next major collaboration between the two will be Aliens vs. Predator, based on Fox Interactive's upcoming video game.
