Original art inspired by Assassin's Creed III up for auction, proceeds going to Rock the Vote.

For the last couple of months, Ubisoft has been touring major cities in the US with an exhibition titled "The Art of the Assassin" and, now that the tour is over, no fewer than 17 of the art pieces featured are being auctioned off in aid of Rock the Vote. Some of my favorite pieces from the collection are conspicuous by their absence from the auction, but there's still a good selection to bid on if you're so inclined.

At the time of writing, the auctions have six days left to run and most of the bids are still hovering right around their start prices of $100. One of the more unusual pieces up for grabs is street artist Artek's "Warrior" which features the Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III in place of Assassin's Creed III protagonist Connor. (His face can be seen in the bottom-right thumbnail below.)

If you're after an original piece of Assassin's Creed III-inspired artwork for your wall or are just curious to see how the bids are progressing, you can check out the auctions on ebay.
