AU Shippin' Out August 24-28: Punch-Out
Nintendo enters the boxing ring with a rehash of a classic SNES franchise.
Punch-Out comes to the Wii for the first time this Thursday and will be exclusive to JB Hi-Fi stores around Australia. Unlike Fight Night, Punch-Out is very much an arcade fighter, featuring zany characters and cartoon-style graphics. In line with bringing the series into the next-gen, Nintendo has also added in a two-player mode and Wii Balance Board support but has sadly left out any online offerings. Check out our review of Punch-Out here.
Next up we've got Up, based on the Pixar film of the same name. Starring Carl, Russell, and Doug from the movie, Up is a platforming game that is slated to appear on all of the current platforms. It follows the trio along their adventure in South America. Expect to see Up out on August 27 (the movie launches on various dates around Australia to coincide with each state's school holidays).
