A new update has arrived to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on March 21. While this is a pretty small update, it does address several frustrating bugs and crashing issues across multiplayer, battle royale, and DMZ. The full patch notes can be seen below, but the update provided fixes for the new Tempus Torrent marksman rifle, restrictions to the Ranked Play UI, and more.

According to Infinity Ward's patch notes, the new update fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking all the stocks on Season 2's new Tempus Torrent marksman rifle. Unfortunately, it also addressed a beneficial bug that let players progress faster in their event weapon camo challenges. The update squashed the bug, which counted AI enemy headshots for progress on the event camo challenges.

Now Playing: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II & Warzone 2.0 Season 02 Reloaded Trailer

This update removed an annoying bug in the in-game shop that sent players back to the "My Bundles'' tab after closing a bundle preview. It also fixed an issue that disabled the "Mute All" chat option if a new player joined mid-match.

The Kastov 762 is now hidden in the Ranked Play loadout UI, as the Season 2 Reloaded update banned the assault rifle and all weapon tuning for the competitive mode. Ranked Play follows the official rules and restrictions of the 2023 Call of Duty League, and here we have a full guide of recommended loadouts and perks used by some of the pros.

Additionally, the update provided several vague fixes for stability issues, so hopefully players will experience less crashes.

The full patch notes can be found below, as shared by Infinity Ward.

A TMNT Shredder operator bundle is available in the in-game shop for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Potential Season 3 operator skins may have been leaked from date miners, who tease skins for Alejandro Vargas, Valeria Garza, and Alex Keller.
