Westwood Studios has released a new downloadable upgrade for Command & Conquer Renegade, its popular action game. The new upgrade, which is available from the links below, contains a number of changes and improvements, including flying vehicles for both the Nod and GDI factions. Players will be able to control the GDI Orca and Nod Apache helicopters, as well as two types of large transport helicopters.

Renegade is set in the sci-fi universe featured in Westwood's popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy game series. In the game's single-player mode, players assume the role of a commando fighting in the war between GDI and NOD forces. The game features structures, weapons, and vehicles from the original Command & Conquer. In the game's multiplayer mode, players can join one of two teams as they fight to destroy each other's base.

Command & Conquer Renegade was released in February. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game.
