According to economic news site Financial Times, Sony will change the MSRP of its first-party software from $49.99 to $39.99. This move would be in line with president of Sony Computer Entertainment America Kaz Hirai's comments to Reuters last week that the PS2's software pricing structure was under review, however Sony Computer Entertainment was not available to confirm or deny this information at press time.

The company's pre-E3 press conference will take place Tuesday morning at 8AM (PDT) and GameSpot will be reporting live from the event.
