Today during the GameSpot E3 livestream, Sony confirmed that Stephen Fry will be returning for LittleBigPlanet 3.
Fry, a British comedian and actor, is the voice behind the iconic narrator in the previous LittleBigPlanet games. It seems obvious that he would be chosen for the role in the third game, but creator and original developer Media Molecule has made it clear that it is not making LBP 3. Fry's inclusion, then, was uncertain.
But, when asked during the stream if Fry would act in LBP 3, Pete Smith and Tom O'Connor gave a definitive yes. They even went as far as to dismiss the idea of LBP without him, saying, "Imagine LittleBigPlanet without Stephen Fry!"
Yesterday, Sony announced LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 4 during its press conference. Sony XDev Europe and Sumo Digital are developing it, and four new characters will be featured alongside Sackboy. You can read GameSpot's impressions of our first look of LBP 3 here.
