Origins tells the story of one man, Bayek, the last Madjay and protector of his community. The game introduces deeper RPG elements to the series. Combat looks to be a bit like Dark Souls', with more emphasis on countering, and there's a slow-mo jump when using a bow that is reminiscent of Breath of the Wild. There are rideable camels, and you can also control a bird of prey that can identify areas of interest for you.

Previous rumors said Assassin's Creed Origins would have a Gold Edition that comes with the game, a Deluxe Pack, a Season Pass, and a steelbook case. There is no word yet on what kind of extra content fans can expect from the Deluxe Pack and Season Pass, but the leak suggested people who pre-order will get the Secrets of the First Pyramids mission.
