E3 2019: 12 Minutes Crosses Tense Psychological Thrills With Groundhog's Day

Trapped in a time loop.

Comments

At E3 2019, Microsoft debuted an upcoming indie game called 12 Minutes. It's an intriguing looking game, as it's psychological thriller that takes place completely from a minimalist top-down perspective.

12 Minutes tells the story of a man who is trapped in a time loop. The first gameplay alluded to this when you see him seated with his wife and starts talking about events that are about to happen with a mysterious man. It was pretty tense stuff, but don't take out word for it; watch the gameplay trailer above.
