EA debuting new FIFA, NASCAR, and Tiger Woods at E3

A trio of newly announced sports titles will join 20 other games at Electronic Arts' booth next week.

Electronic Arts, the 800-pound gorilla of the publishing world, today announced which games it will be showing off at E3. Among the 23 games on display will be three new additions to a trio of EA Sports' most popular franchises.

Foremost among them--from an international perspective, anyway--was FIFA Soccer 2005, the cross-console and PC game based on the worldwide soccer league. Many Americans would likely prefer EA Sports' other two offerings--Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005, featuring the world's most popular golfer, and NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup, the successor to the NASCAR Thunder racing series.

Though it featured a few new games like Catwoman and Armies of Exigo, EA's E3 roster was dominated by the franchises it is known for. EA's full roster is:
