TH*Q's latest BASS Masters Classic game draws a crowd at the real tournament in Alabama.

This week, the BASS (that's Bass Anglers Sportsman Society) Masters Classic tournament is being held in Birmingham, Alabama. Approximately 160,000 bass fishing fans have gathered to attend the three-day event, and TH*Q is there giving the real masters a chance to check out their video and computer game series based on the event.

TH*Q's BASS Masters Classic: Tournament Edition will be released on the PC and PlayStation in spring of 1998. Not your average fishing game, this title is packed with brand name fishing equipment and plenty of fish, plus TH*Q's own 3-D underwater view of the action.

The PC version of the game offers multiplayer gameplay as well - over a modem, IPX network, or TCP/IP connection.

"With over 30 million bass fishing fans who have made the sport one of the nation's favorite pastimes, TH*Q is pleased to be providing this broad demographic with more of our successful 'BASS Masters Classic' titles," said Brian J. Farrell, President and CEO of TH*Q.
