Have a fang ol' time in For Honor.

Just in time for the spooky season, For Honor's Halloween-themed event has finally begun. Fangs of the Otherworld runs until November 1 and features a bevy of themed loot, a new game mode, and more.

Ubisoft outlined some of what is available in a blog post. First up is a new game mode. Spooky Slashers, a variation of Dominion, will allow you to gain special boosts by capturing map zones. While Ubisoft didn't specify what these boosts are, all of them will be lost upon death.

The publisher also shared an appropriately frightful trailer, showcasing some of the many cosmetics available to unlock during the limited-time event. The trailer, below, sees ghouls fighting werewolves to an operatic score.

Halloween-themed loot, like outfits and weapons, will unlock through random drops at the end of each map until Fangs of the Otherworld ends. You can also purchase stuff from the in-game shop such as effects, executions, and more. Should you miss anything for your favorite heroes, you can unlock all event-themed loot by purchasing the corresponding Fangs of the Otherworld item bundle until November 4.

Earlier this year, For Honor introduced a new character that seemed reminiscent of a Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice boss. Sakura--part of For Honor's second season of Year 3, which began May 2--is the female version of Hitokiri and can be purchased for 5,000 Steel.
