GameSpot EQ Online Adventures: Frontiers beta contest next week

On Thursday, July 24, we will open the next beta contest for GameSpot Complete members. The latest contest will offer the chance to win one of 500 beta test kits for Sony Online's EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers for the PlayStation 2. Even though Frontiers is an expansion pack for the PS2 version of EverQuest, the beta doesn't require that participants own or subscribe to EverQuest Online Adventures.

The EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers contest will run from July 24 to July 28. Winners will be randomly selected and announced on July 29. To participate in the beta, winners will have to own a PlayStation 2 and a PS2 network adapter and have their own ISP. The contest is open only to GameSpot Complete members who are residents of the US or Canada.

EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers will add a number of new features to Sony Online's PS2 online role-playing game, including new items and quests, three cities, and 24 dungeons. Frontiers will also add a new playable race, the ogres, and three non-player races. To make it easier to get into the game, Frontiers will have an in-game tutorial and in-game customer service.
