God of War, Gran Turismo 4 now $19.99
Two PlayStation 2 favorites now sport new packaging, low price tag of Sony's Greatest Hits series.
There's a good chance that if you own a PlayStation 2, you also own Gran Turismo 4 and/or God of War. Released in February and March of 2005, respectively, the two games have earned much critical acclaim, with the latter being named GameSpot's PS2 Game of 2005. According to its publisher, Sony Computer Entertainment America, combined sales of the titles have topped 2.5 million units to date.
However, to help entice those who haven't picked up either offering, SCEA today announced that both are being added to its Greatest Hits line of budget-priced games. Besides getting the same red packaging shared by the other 123 Greatest Hits games, the pair will also share the standard Greatest Hits price--$19.99 a pop. Recent additions to the collection include the now-budget-priced, and sex-minigame-free version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
