Impossible Creatures slips to 2003
Microsoft's upcoming real-time strategy game has been delayed.
Microsoft has delayed the release of Impossible Creatures, its upcoming real-time strategy game, until early 2003, according to a company representative. Relic, the developer of the game, will use the extra time primarily to balance the game, although making other changes to the game hasn't been ruled out.
Impossible Creatures is set on a series of remote islands in an alternate universe in the 1930s. Players must stop a madman from using a new animal-blending technology to take over the world. The game lets players create their own units by mixing elements from two other creatures. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
