Koei Expresses X-Box Interest
Koei, makers of Romance of Three Kingdoms and Kessen, expresses interest in Microsoft's X-Box.
Bloomberg Japan reported that Koei, maker of Romance of Three Kingdoms and Kessen, is expressing interest in developing games for Microsoft's X-Box console. According to Koei president, Keiko Erikawa, the company believes it would be easy to develop games for the X-Box due to the hardware's animation capabilities and the Windows-based game software and the widely used DirectX.
Koei previously released games such as Internet Romance of Three Kingdoms and Internet Nobunaga's Ambition for Windows, but it has yet to release any network-compatible games on a console system. At this time, Koei is simply looking into the marketing plans of Microsoft's X-Box.
