Last Bronx: Screens and Video

Fighter from Sega's AM2 division punches up Japanese gamers.

Perhaps the last of Sega's Model 2 arcade board brawlers, Last Bronx was released for the Sega Saturn in Japan earlier this week. The weapon-based fighter looks virtually identical to its arcade cousin, save for occasional slowdown and background or limb pop-up glitch (harkening back to the days of Virtua Fighter on the Saturn).

Spread over two discs, the game features several instructional modes, an arcade mode, versus mode, time attack, survival, and Saturn mode, which carries anime style endings. The game is planned for an October US release, likely in an altered single disc format.

Expect a full review of Last Bronx on the site soon, but in the meanwhile, check out the VGS Last Bronx preview and movie.
