Legacy of Kain: Defiance shipping early

It's rare that a game is released ahead of time, so Eidos is eagerly telling everyone who will listen that Legacy of Kain: Defiance is shipping out early. The game will head out to stores on November 11, a full week before its previous ship date.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is the latest chapter in Crystal Dynamics' long-running horror-action series. Gamers can play as Kain, the titular vampire, or Raziel, the soul-hungry protagonist of the Soul Reaver series. The two undead heroes use their various powers—telekinesis, teleportation, and bloodsucking among them—to solve puzzles, slay enemies, and uncover the secrets behind Kain's origin.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is rated 'M' for Mature (blood, gore, intense violence), has an MSRP of $49.99, and will be available for the Xbox and the PlayStation 2.
