Metal Gear Solid 3D demo dropping tomorrow
Trial of Konami's PlayStation 2 port for Nintendo's handheld arriving Thursday in eShop; full game due February 21.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D doesn't hit store shelves until February 21, but gamers won't have to wait that long to try out the title.
Konami has announced that a demo for the game will land in the 3DS's eShop tomorrow, February 16 in North America. According to the publisher, the demo puts players in the opening segment of the game, where gamers trudge through the swamps of a Soviet jungle to search for a locked-up scientist.
Nintendo began offering 3DS demos last month and said it plans to offer new trials "periodically."
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a port of the PlayStation 2 stealth game with tweaks designed to take advantage of the 3DS hardware. These include 3D visuals, as well as touch-pad and camera support.
