Midway's Arena Football Game
GameSpot News has the first word on an arena football game currently in the works by Midway.
Midway has secured a four-year deal with the Arena Football League to make licensed arena football titles. GameSpot News has learned that the first game will be an eight-on-eight arena football title using the NFL Blitz engine. The game will also feature a lot of the more-violent late hits that the NFL forced Midway to trim from NFL Blitz, such as Mortal Kombat-style uppercuts.
We'll bring you more on Midway's new Arena Football title in the near future. The first game will likely hit arcades early next year.
