N64 Infected With Pokemon Virus
Australian gamers catch Pokemon fever as Nintendo releases a limited-edition N64 with Pokemon characters.
It's blue, it's yellow, it's got Pokemon all over it. What is it? It's Nintendo's latest limited-edition system featuring the world's most-loved little battlin' monsters. But don't rush out to your local game store to buy it. Nintendo of Australia is offering this baby, which features the Pokemon logo and Pikachu along the sides of the top of the machine. The package, which retails for AUS$199 (about US$127), includes a yellow and blue controller as well as the first VHS volume of the TV show.
We contacted Nintendo of America to see if this package would be offered in the US but had not received word at press time.
