Electronic Arts today announced that NASCAR SimRacing has gone gold and will be available on February 15. The PC-exclusive racer was developed by EA Tiburon, the studio that brings the Madden franchise to the field. Those itching to take the game for a test-drive can download a demo of NASCAR SimRacing now from GameSpot DLX.

NASCAR SimRacing was created with serious NASCAR fans in mind. The title ups the realism from the NASCAR Thunder series with more-complete car setups and realistic driving mechanics. The online portion of the game supports up to 43 simultaneous drivers and allows voice-over IP for real-time chat.

Gamers will begin their careers as a driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series circuit, and they'll eventually work their ways up to the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. The game features 25 licensed racetracks, including Talladega and Daytona.
