New breed of Nintendogs coming to Europe

Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends arriving on June 16 in Europe, with a new breed available from the start.

The popular pet sim Nintendogs is to spawn a new set of canine cuddlies with the release of Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends Edition. The new pack is a stand-alone release rather than an expansion, and it includes an array of the most popular breeds from the original three releases.

Your task, as before, is to take care of your chosen puppy in a variety of ways using both voice recognition and the touch screen. Going for walks, playing games, and entering competitions stand alongside the more mundane aspects of pet care such as feeding and grooming.

There will be six breeds to choose from initially in the game, including the Dalmatian, as well as a further 14 types of puppies to unlock as you progress. It'll be out in Europe from June 16 for around £29.99 ($56).
