New GT3 car models

Sony has released new screenshots from Gran Tursimo 3 A-Spec for the Sony PlayStation 2. Several of the screenshots highlight two of the new car models in the game, the Lancer Evolution VII and the Mazda RX-8. The other screenshots show off the game's rally mode and real-time weather effects and reflections in a nighttime setting. The 250-horsepower rotary-powered RX-8 was unveiled at the NAIAS 2001 auto show, and the Evolution VII will be introduced to market on February 3. Those two cars will be among the handful of 2002 models included in the game.

Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec will be released in mid-April.
