New media: Evolution Worlds GameCube

New screenshots of Ubi Soft's RPG for the GameCube have been released.

We have received new screenshots of Ubi Soft's traditional RPG for the GameCube, Evolution Worlds. The game will be a compilation of Evolution and Evolution 2 for the Dreamcast, with added voice acting as the lone improvement. The first half of the game will feature randomly generated dungeons, while the second half will not. Ubi Soft is looking into adding an extra dungeon for the GameCube version of Evolution Worlds, though this has yet to be decided upon.

Characters in Evolution Worlds have ratings in seven categories including attack, skills, items, talents, moves, defend, and escape. The attacks themselves are performed in real time and are fairly impressive, though a bit odd. One character uses a steaming plate of food as a weapon, while another character uses music for attacks.

Evolution Worlds is currently scheduled for release in early October. We'll have more information when it becomes available.
