New Nintendo Switch eShop Sale Live Now With Great Deals And Launch Discounts

In celebration of the latest Indie World Showcase stream, the Nintendo Switch eShop is hosting a solid sale featuring some standout games. The sale runs through August 30 and features nice discounts on a wide variety of indies such as Ori and the Blind Forest and Hotline Miami Collection. You can even save on some of the games shown during the event, including Raji: An Ancient Epic, A Short Hike, and Hypnospace Outlaw.

The sale isn't large, but it is filled with both wonderful and new indies. The Indie World Showcase revealed several surprise releases, and you can get discounts on some of them today. Raji: An Ancient Epic, an action-adventure game set in India, is out today and :on sale for $22.49. Side-scrolling puzzle-platformer Evergate also received a launch discount, as it's on sale for $17. Meanwhile, pre-orders for the wild parody internet game Hypnospace Outlaw are discounted to $15 ahead of its August 27 release on Switch. A Short Hike, a cozy little adventure, also landed on Switch today. It's on sale for $7.19, which is a small discount, but A Short Hike is a relaxing game that everyone should play.

Outside of the new releases, you can save big on several of the best indies on Nintendo Switch. Hotline Miami Collection is on sale for just $8.74, which is a huge discount off of its normal $25 list price. Gorgeous and challenging Metroidvania Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive edition is down to $14, its best price yet on Switch. Creature in the Well, which marries pinball with hack-and-slash combat, is discounted to $9.74. Exit the Dungeon, the follow-up to Dodge Roll's breakout roguelike dungeon crawler, is only $7 during the sale.

Other great deals include the throwback beat 'em up Streets of Rage 4 for $21.24, zany golf game What the Golf? for $15, and Diablo-like action-RPG Torchlight II for $12.
