Ensemble Studios, the Microsoft-owned developer that created the popular Age of Empires real-time strategy series, has released a new screenshot from its upcoming real-time strategy game, Age of Mythology. The new screenshot shows off an Egyptian village scene with a variety of structures and units.

Age of Mythology is set in an ancient world where gods and mythological creatures coexist with humans. Three civilizations--the Norse, the Egyptians, and the Greeks--battle for control of the land. Players choose to command one of the civilizations, and they must win the favor of gods, heroes, and creatures in order to be victorious.

Age of Mythology is scheduled for release in mid-2002. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the game.
