Nintendo adds four to Wii budget line
Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Punch-Out!!, and Mario Strikers Charged join existing Nintendo Selects lineup at $20 price point starting August 28.
Nintendo's low-cost line of Wii games is receiving a handful of high-profile new additions this month. Effective August 28, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Punch-Out!!, and Mario Strikers Charged will be added to the Nintendo Selects line of catalog titles with a $20 price tag.
The trio of Mario titles is led by Super Mario Galaxy, GameSpot's 2007 Game of the Year. The portly plumber's other pair of games being added to the budget line consists of the role-playing game Super Paper Mario and arcade soccer game Mario Strikers Charged.
The final title receiving a price trim is Pinch-Out!!, the 2009 revival of Nintendo's vintage boxing franchise. The game saw the return of Little Mac to the ring, where he was once again challenged by familiar foes like Glass Joe and King Hippo.
