Buka Entertainment today announced that the official English-language Web site for Pacific Storm is now live. The combat flight simulator is set to take off later this year for the PC. Russian game developer Lesta Studio is currently making sure the game is ready for the cyber-skies.

Visitors to the Web site will find a whole dossier on the game, including news, historical information on the various planes included in the game, video of the game in action, and a forum where fans can congregate.

Pacific Storm takes place during the years 1940 and 1948 and combines a real-time strategy game with a combat flight simulator. Gamers will have to carefully position units through the game's interface, then ride shotgun in the cockpit and take them into battle. Players will also be able to control subordinate planes to help turn the tide.

Rating and pricing information for Pacific Storm is not currently available. To get a peek at the game, follow the link below for some brand-new game footage.
