Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, a third-person shooter spinoff of the popular strategy series, will be released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 18 in North America, publisher Electronic Arts announced today. The game will be released two days later in Europe on February 20.

A new gameplay trailer (below) was also released today. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is also in development for PC, though EA did not mention a release date for that version of the game today as part of its announcement.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a multiplayer-only, class-based shooter that runs on the Frostbite game engine, the same technology behind Battlefield and Need for Speed games. The game will retail for $40 on Xbox One (with exclusive Boss Mode) and $30 on Xbox 360 and PC.
