Capcom unveiled its new 3D fighting game at an arcade in Sunnyvale yesterday. Here's our report.

The game runs on Sega's Naomi board, the board that all of the Dreamcast arcade games utilize.

The controls are simple. Players use the joystick to maneuver their characters around the 3D environment and have three buttons: punch, kick, and jump. There is no blocking - a fighters best defense in Power Stone is a good offense.

Players can grab tables, chairs, and just about anything to use as a weapon. Weapons like flamethrowers, bazookas, and guns can be found in little golden chests. But the main objects you want to pick up are the Power Stones. Three will appear during the match. If you collect all three, your character changes into a powerful creature that has devastating attacks. The game features eight characters from the 19th century.
