Serious Sam sequel demo expected soon
Croteam has completed a playable demo for its upcoming shooter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter.
Croatian game developer Croteam has announced that it has completed a playable demo of its upcoming shooter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. The developer expects the demo to be available soon. The demo includes many new enemies, weapons, and other new features from the full version, as well as a new technology test level that shows off some of the game engine's new features. Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is the follow-up to the popular first-person shooter Serious Sam: The First Encounter, which was released in March.
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is currently in the gold candidate stage, awaiting approval from Take-Two Interactive, the publisher of the game. It is scheduled for release in mid-January. Croteam is also working on Serious Sam: The Gold Encounter, a compilation that will include Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, and additional features. It is scheduled for release in spring 2002.
