During the briefing, the runtime for which was not announced, game director Masahiro Sakurai will talk more about the game's newest DLC character, Final Fantasy VII's Cloud.
In addition, it's possible the company will use the event to announce the results of its public poll where it asked fans what character they wanted to see come to the game as DLC. This has not been confirmed, however.
With more than 4 million copies sold, Super Smash Bros. is one of Nintendo's best-selling Wii U games. It has shifted more than 7.3 million copies on 3DS, bringing the game's total to more than 11.3 million.
