Dr. Jones
Dr. Christmas Jones
Dr. Christmas Jones is an American atomic physicist working for the International Decommissioning Agency. Her specialized knowledge makes her a valuable asset to the IDA. Currently, she has been assigned to oversee the dismantling of a nuclear test facility in Kazakhstan.

Victor Zukos
Victor Zukos - "Renard the Anarchist"
Renard is a high-tech terrorist who possesses an unusual and deadly characteristic: A bullet lodged in his brain by 009 renders him impervious to physical pain. The bullet also prevents him from experiencing pleasure, and it is slowly killing him. Years earlier, Renard kidnapped Elektra King and demanded a $5 million ransom from her wealthy father, Sir Robert King. However, Elektra escaped, and the ransom was never paid. Renard's whereabouts are currently unknown. Any agents who encounter him should exercise extreme caution.

Elektra King
Elektra King:
Elektra King is the daughter of the late Sir Robert King, who was killed in an explosion at the MI6 headquarters. She is heir to the King empire, and she plans on continuing her father's work - constructing an oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea into Europe. While the pipeline is tapping a rich and virtually unexploited resource, once completed it will be competing with several other oil pipelines. Elektra has a history with Renard, as she had escaped his kidnapping attempt. MI6 learns that Elektra is being targeting for assassination by Renard, and M dispatches Bond to protect her. Elektra is an intelligent, beautiful woman who has an unseen agenda, which is revealed as the game progresses.

Renard
Renard:
Renard is the main villain in TWINE. He's a ruthless assassin who has a history of high-profile killing. Renard started the events in the game by kidnapping Elektra King and holding her for ransom. While we don't get to see exactly what happened, we learn that she had escaped his clutches, that Renard killed the MI6 agent dispatched to rescue her, and that in the process Renard received a bullet to the skull. While not instantly fatal, the bullet is lodged in his brain and is killing his senses slowly as it travels. The bullet will eventually kill Renard, but it will make him stronger every day until he dies. MI6 believes that Renard is responsible for the death of Elektra's father and that he is working with someone close to Elektra in an effort to dispose of her.

M
M
"M" is the head of MI6. She runs the department according to procedure and keeps a tight rein on her agents, specifically Bond. While she often disapproves of his methods, M respects his talents and considers him a valuable asset to the British Secret Service. Despite their differences, she and Bond share a mutual trust and respect. M is also a close friend of Sir Robert King. Currently, she is overseeing the hunt for Renard.

The Female Assassin
The Female Assassin
"The Female Assassin," whose true identity remains unknown, is something of an enigma to MI6. This much is known about her, however: She is a seductive and lethal assassin who will go to extraordinary lengths to complete an assignment. In the past, she has worked with Renard on several assassination missions.
