Titus' next Nintendo 64 title (after Lamborghini 64, which comes out on September 30) will be a 64-bit console translation of its PC title, Virtual Chess. Virtual Chess 64 is set for a release in the first quarter of 1998, and features several modes of play, including a four-player matchup.

First-time or rookie chess players can begin with the game's tutorial, which will help them learn the basics as well as the more advanced strategies of the game. Players can configure how the game looks, with both 2-D and 3-D views of the board and even a cartoon mode.

The Nintendo 64 version follows in the footsteps of Titus' popular Virtual Chess series of PC titles.

Other Nintendo 64 releases by Titus include Superman 64, based on the Warner Brothers cartoon series of the same name, to be released in the second quarter of 1998.

The company is also working on Quest for Camelot, to be based on an animated movie (also from Warner Brothers), to be released at the end of 1998.
