Disney Interactive has announced Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe, its follow-up to its roller coaster simulation game Ultimate Ride. Like its predecessor, Coaster Deluxe lets players design, build, and ride on their own custom roller coasters, but it also adds a number of improvements.

Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe includes the complete original game along with four new environments, five new coaster pieces, and new themes--gothic, amusement park, and island. The game also features two new track types--standing and flying. The standing coaster lets two riders stand upright, side by side, while the flying coaster sets riders side by side next to the track so that they ride parallel to the ground. In addition, the game has 26 new missions and a revised rendering engine that adds visual effects like fog, reflections, shadows, and lens flares.

We've posted some screenshots from the game in the gallery above. Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe is now available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99.
